1. Who we are

1.1 This Privacy Policy explains how Zaryan Property Pty Ltd (ABN 62 660 433 992) trading as Jinport (Jinport, we, us or our) collects, uses, discloses and protects personal information in connection with our website, platform and business.

1.2 Jinport operates a business to business wholesale marketplace. Our customers are businesses, but we handle personal information about the people connected with them, such as directors, owners, authorised representatives and staff, as well as supplier contacts, referrers, website visitors and anyone who contacts us.

1.3 We handle personal information in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles. Where the privacy laws of another country apply to our handling of your information, we also comply with those laws.

2. Jinport, Jiashan and our partners

2.1 Jinport operates the platform, handles onboarding and coordinates applications, quotations, payments and order administration.

2.2 Jiashan Luoxing Wenxing Supply Chain Management Co., Ltd (Jiashan), our supply chain partner in China, is the seller of the goods and the provider of the trade credit line. Jiashan assesses applications, issues quotations and invoices, and receives payments. Jiashan is responsible for its own handling of personal information and may give you its own privacy information with its application or transaction documents.

2.3 We work with related entities and commercial partners in operating the platform and our arrangement with Jiashan. They may assist with onboarding, coordinating applications, communications and administration, and receive personal information only as needed for those purposes.

3. Information we collect

Account and contact information

Name, work email address, phone number, role, login credentials, communication preferences and security settings, such as a backup email address and two factor sign in.

Business and representative information

Company name, country, registration and tax identification numbers, address, website, industry, ownership details, directors, authorised representatives and team permissions.

Application information

Company profile, business activities, trading history, the trade credit amount and terms requested, financial statements, bank statements, customer contracts, supplier details and related correspondence. These documents may contain personal information about directors, owners, employees or others.

Order and payment information

Quotation requests and attached files, quotations, invoices, delivery details, order progress, payment references, transfer receipts and settlement records. Transfer receipts may show account names, bank details and transaction numbers.

Verification and compliance information

Identity documents, ownership records and other information needed for identity verification, sanctions and anti-money laundering screening and fraud prevention.

Referrer information

For referrers: business and contact details, business registration number or other tax identifiers, GST registration (if applicable) and tax residency, payment details, referral codes, introductions, referral fee records and correspondence.

Technical and usage information

IP address, browser and device details, login activity, security logs, pages visited and how you use the website and platform, including through cookies and similar technologies (see section 10).

Please do not upload personal information that we have not asked for, such as card numbers or health information.

4. How we collect information

4.1 We collect personal information:

• directly from you when you register, apply, upload documents, place orders, contact us or use the platform;
• from your business, its authorised users and representatives;
• from Jiashan, manufacturers and others involved in your orders;
• from referrers who introduce your business;
• from identity verification and screening services and public registers; and
• automatically, when you use our website and platform.

4.2 If you give us personal information about another person, such as a director or employee, you must be entitled to do so and should tell them about this policy.

5. How we use information

5.1 We use personal information to:

• create, verify and administer accounts and company teams;
• coordinate applications and Jiashan's assessment;
• prepare, check and send quotations and transaction documents;
• administer orders, shipping updates, payment confirmation and reminders;
• verify proposed suppliers;
• administer referrer relationships and referral fees;
• respond to enquiries, complaints and requests;
• prevent fraud, investigate misuse and protect the security of the platform;
• keep business, accounting and audit records;
• meet our legal obligations and establish, exercise or defend legal claims; and
• understand how the website and platform are used and improve them.

5.2 We may send you business updates and marketing where the law permits. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in the message or by contacting us. You will still receive essential messages about your account, security and orders.

5.3 We do not sell personal information.

5.4 If you do not provide the information we ask for, we may not be able to open or verify an account, progress an application or process an order.

6. Legal grounds for processing

6.1 Where the law of your country requires a legal basis for processing (for example in Europe or the United Kingdom), we rely on: performing a contract or taking steps before entering one; complying with legal obligations; our legitimate interests in running a secure business platform, supporting transactions, preventing fraud and managing business relationships; or your consent where required.

6.2 Where we rely on consent, you may withdraw it at any time. This does not affect processing already carried out.

7. Who we share information with

7.1 We may disclose personal information to:

• Jiashan, for assessment, supply of goods, administration of trade credit lines, payment confirmation and compliance;
• manufacturers and logistics providers, only as needed for quotations, production, shipping and insurance;
• our related entities and commercial partners assisting with the purposes in this policy;
• service providers that support our operations, such as hosting, email, identity verification and security providers;
• professional advisers, such as lawyers, accountants and auditors; and
• authorities and others where required or authorised by law, or to protect our legal rights.

7.2 We limit what each recipient receives to what its role requires. A manufacturer, for example, does not receive your application, financial documents or payment records.

7.3 Our service providers are bound by confidentiality and security obligations.

8. Company teams and referrers

8.1 Information in a company account is visible to that company's authorised users according to their role. Company owners and administrators manage access.

8.2 If your business was introduced by an approved referrer, we may tell that referrer your business name, order references, their referral fees and the status of each order. We do not give referrers your invoices, items, suppliers, prices, application documents or receipts. Because the referral fee is calculated on the order value, a referrer may be able to work out an order's value from their referral fee. Referrers are bound by confidentiality obligations to us.

9. Overseas disclosure

9.1 Jinport operates from Australia. Jiashan and the manufacturers are in China, so personal information about applicants and buyers is disclosed to recipients in China. Our website, platform database and email are provided by service providers based in the United States, and our website is delivered through a global network of data centres. Personal information may therefore be stored or processed in the United States and in other countries where those providers operate. Information about customers outside Australia is also handled in the customer's own country.

9.2 Privacy laws in those countries may differ from Australian law. We take reasonable steps to ensure overseas recipients handle personal information consistently with the Australian Privacy Principles. Where another country's law requires a specific mechanism for international transfers, such as standard contractual clauses, we use it.

9.3 You may contact us for more information about the safeguards that apply to your information.

10. Cookies and similar technologies

10.1 Our website and platform use cookies and similar technologies that are necessary to operate the service, such as keeping you signed in and protecting forms from automated abuse.

10.2 We do not currently use cookies or similar technologies for analytics, advertising or tracking visitors across websites.

10.3 You can control or block cookies through your browser settings, but some features of the website and platform may not work without them. If we introduce non-essential cookies or similar technologies, we will update this policy and ask for any consent the law requires before using them.

11. Security

11.1 We take reasonable steps to protect personal information from misuse, interference, loss and unauthorised access, modification or disclosure. Measures include encryption in transit, access controls, optional two factor sign in, and human review of payments.

11.2 No system is completely secure. Please keep your credentials safe and tell us promptly about any suspected unauthorised access.

11.3 If a data breach occurs that is likely to result in serious harm, we will notify affected individuals and the relevant authority as required by law.

12. Retention

12.1 We keep personal information for as long as needed for the purposes in this policy and to meet legal, tax, accounting and record keeping obligations, including while any order, payment, complaint or dispute is open.

12.2 Closing an account does not mean all records are deleted immediately. When information is no longer needed, we take reasonable steps to destroy or de-identify it.

13. Access, correction and your rights

13.1 You can update many of your details in your dashboard. You may also ask us for access to, or correction of, the personal information we hold about you.

13.2 Depending on the law that applies to you, you may also have rights to request deletion, restrict or object to processing, receive information in a portable format, or opt out of marketing.

13.3 We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request. We will respond within the time the law requires, generally within 30 days. If we refuse a request, we will explain why and how you can complain.

14. Application decisions

14.1 Applications for trade credit lines are assessed by Jiashan, not Jinport. If you have a privacy concern about an assessment, contact us and we will raise it with Jiashan.

14.2 Quotations and payment confirmations on the Jinport platform are reviewed by people, not decided by automated systems.

15.2 We will acknowledge your complaint promptly and aim to respond within 30 days. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may complain to the privacy regulator where you are located:
